Intravaginal artificial insemination ruling

Over the past 12 months the RCVS has ruled that canine intravaginal artificial insemination must now only be performed by a qualified veterinary surgeon or a veterinary nurse under direct supervision by a qualified vet.

– for progesterone testing can only be taken by a qualified vet or vet nurse under direct veterinary supervision. Qualifications in phlebotomy are not good enough!

CAESAREAN SECTION

– strictly a veterinary surgeon procedure.
